Recorded Joy·Rakuchū / Shijō

Kyoto Daijingu, Inner-City Ise Shrine

Founded in the early Meiji years as a place to worship Ise from afar, for those who could not make the pilgrimage. It enshrines Amaterasu and, with a pair of creator deities, draws those praying for a good match. The main hall is said to have been moved from the Ichijō family residence.
