Mimizuka (Ear Mound / Nose Mound)

耳塚(鼻塚)

East (Rakutō)|東山

A memorial mound burying the ears and noses cut from victims of Hideyoshi's invasions of Korea (the Bunroku-Keicho War). Rising quietly along Shomen-dori, it still carries the memory of that war.
