Memorial Stone to Yun Dong-ju
尹東柱留魂之碑

A stone in memory of Yun Dong-ju (1917–1945), who studied at Doshisha University and is loved in Korea as a national poet. Arrested under the Peace Preservation Law, he died in a Fukuoka prison in 1945, only twenty-seven. The monument stands in the quarter where he once lodged, keeping his spirit near.
