Presumed House of Uesugi Kagekatsu

Jurakudai, a ruler's palace complex with a samurai quarter, was demolished only eight years after its completion. A small stone marks two presumed warrior residences, while, by tradition and with accounts varying, nearby neighborhood names may still preserve their surnames.
