Shusse Inari's Former Shrine Site
By tradition, with accounts varying, Hideyoshi, the ruler who unified Japan, founded this shrine in 1587 within his Jurakudai palace. It later stood here from 1663 to 2012, so the surviving “sacred trace” marks its second home—not its birthplace inside the palace.
