Mimei-bashi (Bridge of First Light)
未明橋(大原問答・ふたつの名)
❀
A vermilion bridge with two names — 'first light' on the Sanzen-in side, Kayaho on the other. Tradition ties it to the dawn close of the great Ohara Debate of 1186; a stone nearby marks where the warrior Kumagai Naozane cast away his blade.
