Mt. Tennozan (Battle of Yamazaki)

The hill at the town's back was the stage of the Battle of Yamazaki in 1582, where Hashiba Hideyoshi broke Akechi Mitsuhide only days after the Honno-ji Incident. From the struggle for this height, "Tennozan" passed into the language as the word for the decisive moment of any contest.
