Koromode-jinja Shrine
衣手神社(ころもでじんじゃ)
An outer subordinate shrine of Matsunoo Taisha and one of the resting places (otabisho) of the Matsunoo Festival. Once the ground of Sannomiya Shrine, the local tutelary deity, it gained its main hall in 1679 and its worship hall in 1852. In 1875 the Koromode subshrine of Matsunoo Taisha was merged here to make it a palanquin resting place, and in 1878 it was renamed Koromode-jinja. Its deities are Tamayori-hime and Hayamato-no-kami.
