林道春邸址

Central (Rakuchū)|四条烏丸

The residence site of the Confucian scholar Hayashi Razan (Dōshun), born in Kyoto's Shijō district. A pupil of Fujiwara Seika, he was received by Ieyasu at Nijō Castle in 1605 and went on to serve four Tokugawa shoguns, laying the foundations of the shogunate's scholarship and ceremony.
