Seiryu Myoon, Benzaiten of the Arts

A Benzaiten hall in Seiryu-cho, Kamigyo Ward, at the west end of Demachi Bridge. Said to have once been the guardian deity of the Fushimi-no-miya princely house, it is visited by those praying to perfect their arts, and counted in one of Kyoto's Seven Lucky Gods circuits (distinct from the well-known Miyako circuit).
