Site of Ryoma's Assassination
The site of Omiya, a soy-sauce merchant where Sakamoto Ryoma and Nakaoka Shintaro were assassinated. A turning point of the Meiji Restoration, it is now marked by a stone amid the bustle of Kawaramachi.
