The Ghost Taxi of Midoro Pond

At Midoro Pond, north of Kamigamo in the city's northern reaches, a ghost-taxi tale has long been told: a woman taken aboard on a rainy night vanishes from the seat before the water comes into view. Old legends also speak of an ogre passing in and out through a hole by the pond. Both are urban legend and folklore—no fixed source, the details shifting with each teller.
